Membership Types

  • Free Membership

    This member tier is for anyone wanting to be involved in the association without having to make a financial commitment.

    Free membership puts you on our mailing list so you stay informed and gets you access to all BSGDGA events.

    Cost = FREE

  • General Membership

    This membership tier is for those who want to be actively involved in their local disc golf scene and association.

    With General Membership, you get:
    - voting rights at annual general meetings,
    - a 10% discount on all BSGDGA events and merchandise
    - a BSGDGA bag tag

    You also get a free Disc Golf NL membership ($15 value), which includes:
    - the ability to attend to attend, vote, and run for positions within DGNL at the annual AGM.
    - $5 USD off your Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) membership
    - 10% off at Play It Again Sports (St. John’s)
    - 15% off at Freestyle Source for Sports (Corner Brook)
    - 10% off at Chain Reaction Disc Golf Supply (online)
    - 10% off at Party Puffin Apparel (online)
    - 15% off at Island Disc Golf (online)
    - 10% off at Disc Republic (online)
    - a Disc Golf NL Bag Tag
    - eligibility to register for DiscGolf NL Provincials

    Membership fees are used to perform course maintenance, hold events, and promote the sport locally.

    Cost = $30 CAD per year

  • Junior Membership

    Junior Membership holds same benefits as the General Membership, but at half the price.

    Players must be under 18 years old or younger to register for Junior Membership.

    Cost = $15 CAD per year

  • Whaleback DiscGolfPark Membership

    Both Blanche Brook Disc Golf Course and Stephenville Disc Golf Courses are FREE to play.

    Whaleback DiscGolfPark is pay-to-play and requires a separate fee from your General Membership.

    With your Whaleback DiscGolfPark membership you get one year’s access to this 18-hole course.

    However, when the trails are being used for cross-country skiing in the winter, disc golfers must wear snowshoes to prevent damage to the trails.

    The Cross-country ski trail use period varies depending on yearly snowfall levels.

    COST = $92 CAD per year ($80 + HST)
